Why has the Company introduced the Shareholder Benefit Program?

Why are benefits provided as points instead of the Company's products?

The Shareholder Benefit Program is offered in the form of points, allowing shareholders to freely select products that best match their individual lifestyles and preferences.

When and how will I receive my Point Code?

Eligible shareholders will receive a notification letter containing their Point Code by mail at the address recorded in the shareholder register.
Under the regular program, notification letters are scheduled to be mailed around the end of May each year to eligible shareholders based on the Record Date at the end of February.
Under the First-Year Special Measure (based on the August 31, 2026 Record Date), notification letters are scheduled to be mailed in early November 2026.

Why will the Shareholder Benefit Program be implemented twice in the fiscal year ending February 2027?

To provide more shareholders with the opportunity to experience the Company's products and services following the introduction of the Shareholder Benefit Program, the Company will implement the First-Year Special Measure based on the Record Date of August 31, 2026.
Accordingly, only in the first year of the Shareholder Benefit Program, shareholder benefits will be provided twice: under the First-Year Special Measure (based on the August 31, 2026 Record Date) and under the regular program (based on the February 28, 2027 Record Date).

② Eligibility and Record Dates

What are the eligibility requirements for receiving shareholder benefits?

To be eligible for the regular Shareholder Benefit Program, shareholders must hold 100 shares or more (one trading unit) for a Continuous Holding Period of at least three months as of the Record Date at the end of February each year.
Specifically, shareholders must hold 100 shares or more (one trading unit) under the same Shareholder Number as recorded in the Company's shareholder register as of November 30 of the preceding year.
However, under the First-Year Special Measure (based on the August 31, 2026 Record Date), no Continuous Holding Period is required.

Do the benefits vary depending on the Number of Shares Held and the Continuous Holding Period?

The Number of Points awarded varies depending on the Number of Shares Held and the Continuous Holding Period.
For details, please refer to the Points Award Table in the "Shareholder Benefit Program" section.

By when must I purchase shares to be eligible for shareholder benefits?

To be eligible for the regular Shareholder Benefit Program, shareholders must hold 100 shares or more (one trading unit) as of the Record Date at the end of February each year and must have continuously held 100 shares or more (one trading unit) under the same Shareholder Number from November 30 of the preceding year through the end of February.
Accordingly, shareholders must hold 100 shares or more (one trading unit) of the Company's shares as of the last trading day with entitlement so that they are recorded in the Company's shareholder register as of November 30 of the preceding year. As the last trading day with entitlement varies from year to year, please contact your securities company for details.

What is the last trading day with entitlement?

The last trading day with entitlement is the final day on which shares must be purchased in order for a shareholder to be recorded in the shareholder register as of the applicable Record Date.
The Number of Shares Held at the close of the last trading day with entitlement will be reflected in the shareholder register as of the applicable Record Date and will be used to determine the shareholder benefits.
The last trading day with entitlement falls two business days before the last business day of the month in which the applicable Record Date occurs.
As the last trading day with entitlement varies from year to year, please contact your securities company for details.

For the first year of the Shareholder Benefit Program, by when must I purchase shares to be eligible for the shareholder benefits based on the August 31, 2026 Record Date?

To be eligible for shareholder benefits under the First-Year Special Measure (based on the August 31, 2026 Record Date), shareholders must hold 100 shares or more (one trading unit) of the Company's shares as of Thursday, August 27, 2026.

How is the Continuous Holding Period determined?

The Continuous Holding Period is determined from the date on which a shareholder is first recorded in the Company's shareholder register as holding 100 shares or more (one trading unit).
To maintain the Continuous Holding Period, shareholders must continuously hold 100 shares or more (one trading unit) under the same Shareholder Number on each Record Date: May 31, August 31, November 30, and the end of February each year.
If the Number of Shares Held falls below 100 shares on any of these Record Dates, the Continuous Holding Period will end. A new Continuous Holding Period will begin from the date on which the shareholder is again recorded in the shareholder register as holding 100 shares or more (one trading unit).

Can my shareholder number change?

A Shareholder Number may change under various circumstances. The following are common examples, although the handling may vary depending on your securities company. If you have any questions about whether your Shareholder Number may change, please contact the securities company where your shares are held.

1. When the registered shareholder changes

Appointment, change, or termination of a legal representative, such as a parent or guardian

Where can I find my shareholder number?

If you are unable to locate your shareholder number, please contact the securities company where your shares are held or the Securities Agency Division of Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation, the Company's shareholder registry administrator.

What happens if my shareholding falls below 100 shares (one trading unit)?

If the Number of Shares Held falls below 100 shares (one trading unit) on any Record Date (May 31, August 31, November 30, or the end of February each year), the Continuous Holding Period accumulated up to that point will end. A new Continuous Holding Period will begin from the date on which the shareholder is again recorded in the shareholder register as holding 100 shares or more (one trading unit).

What happens if I purchase additional shares?

The shareholder benefits are determined based on the Number of Shares Held as of the Record Date at the end of February each year. The shareholder benefits are determined based on the Number of Shares Held as of the Record Date at the end of February each year.

Can I combine the number of shares and Continuous Holding Period of shares held under family members' names?

Shares held under different Shareholder Numbers cannot be aggregated.
